This team has an excellent reputation and is currently working with a diverse range of corporate, central government and private clients from numerous sectors including infrastructure, industrial, healthcare, property, forestry and retirement villages, and many more.

Members of the team are involved in a broad range of work including planning and consenting, submissions on draft policies and plans, environmental compliance, monitoring and enforcement, regulatory compliance and advice on new legislation, climate change and sustainability issues.

The team also works collaboratively with the firm's property, corporate and banking and financial services teams to advise on the environmental implications of property and corporate transactions and undertakes all specialist environmental litigation within the firm.

The variety and scope of the work in this team means team members get the opportunity to consistently grow their skillset.

This team loves what they do and are extremely passionate about delivering excellent work to clients, so they are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has a passion for excellence.

They encourage their employees to become their best by consistently providing them with the training and support they need.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience gained from another leading law firm in Environmental law. You will be able to work autonomously on files, have strong technical, written and analytical skills, litigation experience, and enjoy working in a high performing team.

The successful candidate will also be mentoring / supporting junior and intermediate members of the team, so having experience and an interest in doing so is important.
