As an experienced DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive team responsible for creating amazing device, mobile and web integrated vision technology, video solutions and other IoT devices.
Supported by passionate and engaged engineers, you’ll be able to develop new products and solutions while becoming ingrained in the world of vision systems integration.
On any given day, you could be :
Designing and implementing scalable infrastructure for our IoT platform to handle hundreds of thousands of connections without issue
Debugging containers, distros, scripts, web apps & anything else that’s broken
Designing & deploying development, testing or operational tools / systems both on-site & in the cloud
Automating boring manual tasks so you never have to do them again
Designing and implementing end-to-end delivery pipelines
Improving and updating monitoring services as the infrastructure grows
Researching and presenting on the coolest and latest technologies
Collaborating with a highly-skilled team of passionate people
Under the gun to deliver something the company, our clients or the industry needs

As the type of DevOps Engineer we want, you will :
Have experience building and maintaining production systems on AWS
Have experience with scalable cloud computing tools and technologies
Have a passion for and understanding of modern technologies and trends
Have a genuine interest in software development, whatever language or platform.
Understand the value of open-source software, and have the desire to give back to the community
Be driven to provide secure, scalable and reliable systems
Be a great communicator
Have a sense of humour, no matter how quirky!
Have solid problem solving skills

Be willing to put yourself out there & make suggestions
Have the lawful ability to work in New Zealand, including the ability to obtain a Work Permit with conditions that allow you to work in this position

Experience working in microservice based infrastructure
Experience with security encryption tools (PKI / TLS)
