Global Foodservice’s aspiration is to become channel-led in the specialist channels of Asian Bakery, Italian Kitchen, Beverage House and Western QSR through understanding what customers require to deliver new and enduring value for Fonterra and our customers’ businesses.
The Global Foodservice Sales Capability Team is charged with continuously improving and growing the capability of our Sales and Sales Operations people globally and building a coaching culture.
This role is responsible for the design, development and deployment of integrated learning solutions and capability frameworks for our Sales teams across Global Foodservice.
There is a significant integration focus required to ensure we have one world class approach for all Sales people delivered in a best practice, agile and sustainable manner.
Role accountabilitiesDesign, develop, deploy integrated learning frameworks that deliver to the specific requirements of Sales audiences at all levels.
Formulate sustainable and agile approaches to the delivery of the above frameworks, eg, train the trainer approaches that allow our people to be trained in a timely and cost effective manner, e-
learning modules that deliver just in time learning etcDesign and deploy reinforcement programmes that embed the learning and capability into business as usual practice to deliver sustainable change.
Develop learning solutions that build capability, most specifically related to functional capability but which feed into leadership development and team effectiveness.
Develop and deploy strategies to assess current technical / functional capability in all sales regions globally.Develop strong internal and external networks and benchmark Fonterra B2B capability against best practice to keep us one step ahead.
Skills and ExperienceMasters or post graduate qualification in a commercial or sales led specialty or minimum tertiary qualification with a sales, people, change or commercial componentExtensive experience in a sales or customer facing or key account management position with a training / learning or organisational change backgroundSuperior leadership and influencing skills as well as vendor management and negotiation skillsStrategy development and execution experienceCommercially savvy and have a good understanding of business imperatives (in a sales organisation)B2B experience (or other organisations with sales networks) and relevant experience in the dairy industry will be preferredPrimary LocationNew Zealand-
