Cordall Manufacturing is a New Zealand manufacturing success story. Kiwi-owned and operated with a production base in Levin, Cordall is the name for a new generation of bungee cord, braided and knitted cords, tapes and elastics.
Cordall provides solutions for both its domestic customer base and a growing export market.
The Opportunity :
We are looking for an experienced leader who is fresh thinking and dynamic to lead our production team and develop and roll out our five-year expansion plan.
This is a general management role that encompasses both the operational side of the business (production, inventory and staff) as well as sales, marketing and customer relationships.
Key areas of responsibility include :
Managing the profitable and sustainable operation of the business
Providing leadership for the overall Cordall business and developing a high performing team.
Executing the strategic plan with approved budget
Building relationships with staff, board members, suppliers, key stakeholders and customers
Compliance with Cordall Health and Safety Policy
Drive efficiencies and optimisation across manufacturing
Developing and ensuring compliance to business processes to enable effective and productive operations.
What we are looking for :
A motivated self-starter with proven leadership experience.
Experience and understanding of logistics, production and inventory management
Proven financial acumen with an understanding of budgeting and COGs
Strategy development and implementation
Marketing and Promotional experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
An ability to think strategically as well as analytically
Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential
