Our Environmental Consents Team is seeking a Building Warrant of Fitness Technician. The purpose of this role is to provide better understanding and education to stakeholders to ensure the safety of people when using buildings- this will help to enable a sustainable and safer city.
In this role you will be coordinating the annual renewal of building warrant of fitness's (BWoFs), and be responsible for maintaining records and producing regular reporting.
You will work alongside the BWoF auditor in relation to enforcement and also working in conjunction with Building officers on building consents that include new or altered specified systems.
As well as being able to act as a backup for the Swimming Pool Officer and for the BWoF Auditor when required, you will be ensuring that all chargeable time is recorded accurately and all outstanding BWoF fees are recovered.
