About the role
You will have the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines. It is imperative that you have the required hands on experience and sound knowledge of the industry as you will hit the ground running.
You should have a stable working history gained in freight forwarding and working in New Zealand.
In your new position you will be tasked with managing all levels of operations for both import and export sea freight and at times air.
This will include managing the customer service functions and liaising with overseas agents. You will need to have a strong grasp on Cargowise and have excellent communication both written and verbal.
Apart of your new role you will be required to classify and lodge for both import and export shipments. You will also be preparing export documentation.
It would be desirable if you have some exposure to exports.
You will have a can-do attitude and present with a professional approach. Ideally you will have a stable work history within the industry.
