    The Team : What we do

    The West Adult Community Mental Health Service isone of four city-based teams that provide an assessment and treatment servicefor consumers with mental illnesses aged between 18 65 years, and workclosely with their families / whanau - both in the community and alongsideinpatient services.

    The Role : Whereyou fit in

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the West community team as a communitymental health nurse who will work closely with consumers and their whanau.

    Under the West Community team, the case managementposition entails providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, casemanagement, and therapeutic interventions for our clients and their family / whanau.

    You will work as a multi-disciplinary team member, where there is astrong focus on returning clients to primary health care sector followingspecialist input.

    You will be experienced with managing and responding to crises.

    This position requires registered nurses withexperience in mental health.

    Full Driver s license is essential.

    1 FTE permanent and 0.8 FTE fixed term positions available.
