Be part of the dynamic Global Communications team, responsible for helping Xero meet its bold objectives. Working within the People and Change Communications function, this role will support the strategic planning and delivery of many of Xero’s internal communications projects for our Technology Org.

You will support key global business initiatives and projects to ensure Xero delivers on our purpose and strategic priorities as well as ensure we have a positive impact on our people and culture.

Working with leaders and teams across the business, you will create engaging communications across various internal channels to effectively reach our diverse workforce around the world.

You’ll be an excellent writer and an experienced stakeholder manager with a desire to be innovative in your approach to people communications and engagement.

You’ll be accustomed to building world class communications tools and have a passion for people, change management and employee engagement.

What You’ll do :

  • Working closely with our Senior Communications Manager for Technology, to provide support, including drafting comms scripts for internal events, writing updates on key initiatives for Technology, and coordinating key comms forums.
  • Providing communication guidance and support to relevant senior Technology leaders, to ensure quality communication outcomes.
  • Develop, implement and measure best practice communication strategies and approaches, in support of Technology initiatives and strategic programs of work, including the key technology modernisation initiative across Xero.
  • Craft and deliver #beautiful communications across various mediums and in Xero voice’, including emails, articles, blogs, scripts, briefing docs, Q&As, Slack posts

  • 6-10+ years of experience in communications, change management, PR / media, journalism or a related fieldB2B and / or SaaS and / or tech sector experience is essential
