    The Tauranga, Welcome Bay and Bayfair

    We have exciting opportunities for a registered nurse to join the nursing team at one of the below centres. We are looking for someone who can bring clinical excellence and a passion for improving the health of the community.

    The Doctors Tauranga - large practice that includes an acute walk-in service, permanent part time position working 25.5 hours per week.

    The Doctors Welcome Bay - small family focused practice (a combination of Tauranga and Welcome Bay would be considered) - permanent part time position working 24 hours per week.

    The Doctors Bayfair - medium size family practice with an acute service that is 7 days per week 8-5.30 weekdays and 8-12 weekends, permanent part time position working 24-32 hours per week.

    You will be working with skilled clinical and administration colleagues and be supported by a dedicated medical centre leadership team

    Do you have what we are looking for?

  • A current New Zealand practicing certificate is essential
  • Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi with a focus on equity.
  • Prior experience in a medical centre is desirable
  • Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
  • Willing to continually learn and improve
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with team members.
  • Confident, friendly and approachable.
  • You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
  • Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential
  • Computer literate
