We support each person to manage their dayto day lives in ways and at times that work for them. The people we supporthave a wide range of abilities and challenges.

We also work with family and whanau to provide time for them to have abreak, while their young adults stay in one of our respite houses.
We actively encourage people to pursue theirdreams and try out new experiences, and can guarantee that no two days workingat LLDS are ever the same.
We workcollaboratively and in partnership with Mental Health and Addictions, YouthJustice, Oranga Tamariki, and other community organisations to meet the needsof people we support.
N.B. Disability SupportServices are part of Nelson Marlborough Health, however, we are not amedical / clinical service. We are a community based disability supportservice focused on quality of life EnablingGood Lives Principles.

This is a fixed-term position working 35 hours a fortnight, until 27th February 2022 (0.44FTE).
Shift : 3.30PM to 8.30.00PM

You will follow individual plans and understand theimportance of consistency in assisting people to achieve a great life.

Your hourly rate willbe $21.50 to $27.00 dependent upon your qualifications as recognised under theCare and Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017.
These positions are classified byImmigration as ANZSCO 423111 and applicants for this position must be NZ orAustralian Citizens, or have NZ Permanent Residency, or a valid NZ workvisa.
