We have recently set up a programme management office to manage delivery of a growing and ambitious capital works programme, delivered under a reshaped integrated supplier model.

We are looking for an accomplished and energetic programme scheduler to join this team.

The Programme Scheduler is responsible for upkeep of the master capital works programme schedule, and will set the standard of programme and project scheduling through our integrated supply chain, ensuring programme leads and supplier leads have up to date and reliable intelligence regards to future work and resource requirements, programme progress and schedule risks.

The role will be involved with the implementation of a new programme management system, and you will require interpersonal skills to resolve issues such as scheduling and resource clashes.

The Programme Scheduler also has significant autonomy in shaping scheduling standards and will be working across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, senior employees, corporate staff and operations staff.

To be successful in this role you will have the drive and interpersonal skills to be able to influence to achieve the outcomes that are required.

You will be the glue that keeps the programme schedule co-ordinated across the supply chain and will be relied upon to ensure we have up to date and accurate schedule reporting.

Whilst you will be expected to work within defined processes, you will be agile and adaptable, keeping an eye on how you get to the end outcome efficiently.

Perhaps your experience has come from the public or private sector, your skills and drive will have positioned you to be able to walk in the door and start to make a positive impact.

It's a given of course you will have strong technical skills such as financial, risk management, performance management, business case investment decisions, and are knowledgeable in programme management and financial systems.
