A new and exciting opportunity has become available for two Ophthalmic Technicians to join our Manukau SuperClinic busy outpatient facility in South Auckland.

Our 7000+ staff serve the people of South and East Auckland and are one of the largest providers of paediatric and adult primary, secondary and tertiary health care in Australasia.

In this position you will be responsible for conducting visual function evaluations of patients, in coordination with the Consultants, with a goal of providing accurate, efficient and a high standard optometric and other ophthalmic assessments.

Tasks will be as agreed with the Service Manager, Head of Ophthalmology Department, Clinical Nurse Manager and Allied Health Coordinator for Ophthalmology.

We are looking for highly motivated team members who are willing to undertake training and learn new skills, be able to work well within a culturally diverse environment and have good computer, administrative and time management skills.

Essential

  • One year clinical experience in Ophthalmology
  • Related Health Qualification and experience
