About the Role

The Marketing Automation & Loyalty team sit within Digital Experience Platforms at Datacom and support clients end-to-end with digital marketing strategy, marketing automation strategy, campaign development, digital analytics implementation through to optimisation activities.

We help our clients design and deliver connected experiences to their customers.

  • We are a tight-knit, supportive team with specialisations in Marketing Automation; Marketing Operations; Data and Analytics;
  • and Digital Asset and Process Management. This is a great opportunity to learn from specialist, senior team members. We are also growing, so you will have the opportunity to develop in the platform area that is of most interest to you.

    As a Consultant Marketing Automation you will support the Datacom team to drive and deliver Marketing Automation projects.

    In this role you will engage with our customers from the outset on a range of projects including : Marketing Automation platform rebuilds, Connected Experience roadmap design and delivery, customer engagement strategy design and development, MA platform training, program optimisation etc

    Our ideal candidate has experience delivering Marketing Automation programs and projects on a well-known platform such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign and the wider Adobe Experience Cloud stack.

    What you’ll do

    As a Consultant Marketing Automation, you will be accountable for, but not limited to :

  • Working with a Senior consultant to understand strategic imperatives and what our clients are trying to achieve turning strategy into actionable initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and / or ways of working (both Datacom’s and our clients)
  • Consulting with clients on how marketing automation platforms can deliver commercial benefits to their organisation and helping them build a roadmap of campaign and platform development
  • Working with Senior Consultants to develop integrated, multi-channel marketing automation strategies and solutions for our clients
  • Working with our Marketing Operations and data teams to implement and upgrade Marketing Automation platforms for our clients
  • Working with campaign managers and our Marketing Operations team to design and build omni channel campaigns for our clients
  • Ensure best practice in Marketing Automation strategies and ongoing learnings are documented and disseminated across the team and with our clients
  • Train our clients to use Marketing Automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Campaign
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of major sales proposals, being a subject matter expert for marketing automation platform projects.
  • Contribute to the teams wider thought leadership activities around Marketing Automation, Loyalty and personalisation trends and technologies
  • Maintaining budgeted revenue target in line with team / project KPIs and metrics, actively seeking to eliminate rework in delivery
  • Continuously collaborating with clients and internal team members as needed
  • What you’ll bring

    To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated working knowledge of the following :

  • Experience in direct marketing strategy and program / campaign design for acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs across a range of B2B and B2C segments.
  • Understanding of the functional and technical capabilities of a major Marketing Automation platform i.e. Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, Braze, Mailchimp etc and experience in advising clients or a business on best practice implementation and use.
  • Functional Certifications in Marketing Automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and / or Adobe Campaign.
  • Knowledge and understanding of wider Digital Marketing technology platforms such as Digital Experience Platforms, Digital Analytics, Digital Asset Management, Customer Data Platforms.
  • Good understanding of broad business issues and financial acumen.
  • Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation, and project revenue.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a focus on capturing requirements and use cases, developing a solution and articulating business value.
  • Ability to frequently interact and network with a variety of stakeholders and team members within own area of expertise.
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Strong technical competency.
  • Understanding of user / customer experience principles.
  • Naturally organised and methodical with strong attention to detail and ability to create clear documentation.
  • Ability to work with wider team, ensuring clarity of work streams and ability to meet project requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Experience Levels :

    Minimum 3+ years of experience in business management, marketing, IT, systems integration consulting.

    Minimum of 2 years' experience working with Marketing Automation platforms
