An exciting opportunity has arisen at Waitomo District Council - we are looking for a General Manager - Infrastructure Services to lead and manage the effective and efficient supply of Infrastructure Services to WDC's internal and external customers.
The key focus of this executive leadership role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure services and community facilities for people living in the Waitomo District.
The portfolio of responsibilities is large. Infrastructure Services provides a range of services across the Three Waters, Solid Waste, and Roading.
The Group also provides Community Facilities (comprising Recreation and Culture and Parks and Reserves).
You will provide strategic direction, long-term asset management planning, and explore new and creative ways to deliver cost-effective management of Council owned properties, land, and facilities.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the General Manager Infrastructure Services is a key member of the Senior Management Team.
Your day-to day-work will be varied and there will be professional challenges, but more important than what we do is why we do it, which is to keep our District vibrant and helping it thrive into the future.
