The team is made up of lawyers and advisers who, in addition to providing legal and advisory services on parliamentary matters, provide advice on a range of corporate matters including contracts and tenders, copyright and intellectual property, and support policy development and contribute to education and development activities.

We are looking for a true leader with a natural ability to inspire and influence others to achieve great things. Along with your excellent relationship management skills, you will have a drive for results and a genuine desire to deliver excellent service to customers and stakeholders.

You will be a leader who can encourage their team to learn new skills and to grow in their careers. As a manager you'll have responsibility for tasks including recruitment, budgeting, reporting and managing finances and risks.

Previous experience in managing people and processes in a public sector context, and either legal and / or policy advice will be an advantage.

Key to your success in this role relies on your strong skills in the following :

  • Excellent relationship management
  • A sound knowledge of the machinery of government
  • Previous experience leading, empowering and developing a high-performing team
  • Ability to influence and lead
