Key to enabling our continued sales growth, financial services product and payments roadmap will be our Financial Services and New Business Lead.
About the role
Reporting to the Financial Services & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of our Financial services, Payment and Business Development strategy and priorities.
In this key role, you will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders as well as external partners / vendors and closely with our Group Financial services and Fraud management teams.
Your key responsibilities will include :
The development, drive and coordination of efforts to meet individual financial service products targets’ and new payment acceptance methods
Assisting the Financial Services & Business Development Manager to develop, socialize and execute payments (instore, digital and online) and FS strategy in conjunction with the wider CDX team
Alignment with Marketing to support marketing activity related to financial services, new business development projects and payments products / services.
Management of Online Fraud including alignment with the Group Fraud management team, banks and monthly reporting of fraud and revenue leakage to agreed SLA’s .
Identifying trends affecting fraud and working with Group to design and build, refine and create new fraud prevention business rules
Ensuring all initiatives meet appropriate statutory, legal, compliance and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain and manage all key metrics within each financial service product portfolio, in addition to individual campaign analysis including ROI tracking
You will be an energised, charismatic individual with a high delivery orientation. You will be systematic and well organised with a finger on the pulse at all times.
Your prior experience will likely reflect a minimum of 5 years working in Financial Services or Payments in a relationship and or a product oriented role.
You will have strong analysis and problem solving skills in addition to :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound understanding of the NZ Financial services regulatory landscape
Strong sales orientation and a desire to achieve targets
Excellent listening skills, empathetic and nurturing nature with an innate sense of when to be disruptive.
Exposure to AGILE ways of working and strong collaboration skills
