Job Description

  • This is a role where you will manage our busy bike department including;
  • manage orders and stock levels, analysing bike performance against forecast and budgets, controlling stock levels while maintaining accurate inventory of all bike stock
  • achieve sales and profit targets for the bike department and Torpedo7. This will be done by setting and achieving monthly, weekly, and daily sales targets
  • Support the store manager in the interview process, on boarding and training of new bike team members
  • manage the repair and warranties bike service, setting up a process delivering seamless customer experience while maintaining cost efficiencies
  • follow up with all customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • follow Torpedo7 selling process for all bike sales, and ensuring the bike team consistently delivers excellent customer journeys
  • complete all administration tasks and computer work associated with the bike business
  • and maintain a high level of product knowledge and up skilling team members, ensuring a succession plan is in place for key bike roles
  • Qualifications

    Ideally you will have :

  • a proven track record of leadership ability and skills
  • high levels of initiative, display good team work, be flexible and adaptable
  • emotional maturity at all times
  • excellent communication and the ability to build trust, confidence and mutual respect
  • the ability to think in a focused, analytical and detailed manner with high levels of accuracy
  • technical skills of bike mechanics, building and a wide bike industry experience and knowledge
