The Role

We are currently on the lookout for two experienced part-time Inventory Officers to join our Distribution Centres based in Auckland and Christchurch.

In this role you will ensure all inventory systems within the DC are adhered to, are current, and accurately reflect real time data as well as coordinate flows of inventory.

The Tasks

These roles could see you working across :

  • Maintain WMS data integrity and traceability.
  • Monitor and manage product code dates.
  • Manage stock rotation.
  • Product location slotting.
  • Releasing sales orders for the pick.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts in accordance with the cycle count schedule.
  • Quarterly stocktakes.
  • Manage and improve the Inbound schedule.
  • Damaged stock and claims processing.
  • Follow up outstanding purchase orders daily.
  • Maintain Inbound accuracy and action non-conformances.
  • Maintain inventory register for on hold, out of rotation and short shelf-life products.
  • Ensure department compliance to DQMP and MBOPEX requirements.
  • Monthly Pallet counts.
  • Participate with site safety initiates.
  • The Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience within a similar role.
  • Sound numerical skills.
  • Exposure in a warehouse / distribution environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • WMS experience an advantage.
