As a Refrigeration Technician working in our Product Development team you will be exposed to a wide variety of Design Engineering challenges covering all aspects of refrigeration technical functions.

From the very start you will contribute significantly through our entire (LFPD) Learning First Product Development process :

  • Deliver excellent and timely technical support that provides knowledge throughout product development processes that supports product design decisions
  • Identify, create and perform tests and other development processes that generate knowledge throughout the product development process
  • Verifying product designs to ensure products meet the agreed standards and interfaces with regulatory agencies
  • Uses LFPD tools to plan and capture information associated with technical support activities example : performing tests, and presenting test information and interpretations in formats useful to the applicable customers.
  • Is able to both manage and, manipulate data in an appropriate way to facilitate relevant data output
  • Skills and Experience

    You are a natural and curious problem solver, with a collaborative approach to your work. Good planning is an important aspect of your consistent track-

    record of on-time work delivery that meets or exceeds requirements. You thrive in a hands-on environment where you can own the results of your hard work and the impact this will have on product development.

    Key skills :

  • Proven technical and scientific skills leading to continuous technical learning
  • Knowledge of refrigeration cycle, technical functions and components
  • Advanced ability to manage data capture and manipulation as well as general computer skills
  • Robust planning and process management as well as being action orientated
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and communicate effectively - both orally and written
  • This role is a six month fixed term contract. We will discuss with the successful candidate as to the possibility of this later becoming a permanent role.
