A well established and successful pharmaceutical manufacturer based in central Auckland has a vacancy for a Maintenance Technician supporting the Engineer Ideally the suitable applicant will have proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within a highly regulated environment Pharmaceutical Health or Dairy Sectors We would also consider recent Engineering Graduates The successful applicant will in part be responsible for maintaining and conducting preventative maintenance on processing equipment and for providing a breakdown response This covers all aspects both electrical and mechanical This position is an integral and important support role to our manufacturing teams The successful candidate would take responsibility for Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices when performing tasks Performing tasks as per maintenance and validation plan Advising on production methods and equipment utilisation for continuous improvement Ensuring the building fittings and equipment are well maintained and in line with regulatory requirements including Health and Safety Clean room maintenance To be considered ideal for this role you would be required to Have a current practising Electrical License Have a strong mechanical knowledge Have competent computer skills Microsoft Office Have a strong work ethic and demonstrated track record for attention to detail with a proactive approach to work Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Be committed to providing a high level of customer service and professionalism Show willingness to learn and be flexible to meet changing business needs If you have the relevant experience and competencies to be successful in the role we would encourage you to apply hr biomedltd co nz
