Your New Role

Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager the Logistics Team Leader, is responsible for all the receival of Inwards Goods of Raw Materials, Packaging & Consumables as well as the accurate recording of CHEP Equipment.

Also, in the portfolio is the daily responsibility of the Site Waste & Waste Plant activities on site. This role requires high level of communication with Supply Chain Team, Production, Transport Providers and Suppliers to ensure that the daily activities are met successfully each day.

Successful candidates will ideally have relevant Logistics experience encompassing all receival & dispatch processes and have a passion for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities :

  • Be forefront on OH&S Obligations for the Inwards area
  • Manage the daily inwards receiving process & ensure all receivals are booked in correctly
  • Manage the daily staging requirements of Raw Materials for production
  • Manage the Daily / Weekly cycle counts Process with the team
  • Manage the Supplier Credit process and ensure they are corrected accounted for to return to suppliers
  • Key Leader in performing the Monthly Stocktakes with the Supply Chain Team
  • Use M3 / WMS to correctly receive all incoming goods into the system
  • Manage the Daily Cycle Count Process with the team
  • Flexibility to start early and finish late is a requirement based on the daily business activity
  • Availability to work overtime hours and weekend work essential
  • Required skills and experience :

  • Forklift Licence required for both Reach truck & Counter Balance
  • Minimum 3-5 Years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong Excel skills with either M3, SAP or MFG Pro systems knowledge
  • WMS (Warehouse Management System) utilising hand held scanners
  • Proven people skills in negotiation with Internal / External relationships
  • Adaptable to changing workload and priorities
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Physically fit
  • Problem solver, flexible, able to adapt to new ways of working
