What does the day to day look like?

We are on a growth journey which makes our environment fast paced, interesting, challenging and fun! In our small team, you will play a key role in improving our HR strategy delivery where you will bring your past experience to be able to provide input and guidance to our organisation.

  • Manage a business group portfolio, partnering with leaders to meet their BAU HR and strategic needs.
  • Take the lead on HR related projects particularly OD related as part of the strategic plan (performance and leadership frameworks, talent succession planning etc)
  • Work closely with the Executive HR on strategic HR planning, roadmaps and achieving the objectives set for the team.
  • Mentor colleagues and provide support no matter what the task is.
  • Manage workflow through a shared inbox and our HR system (ELMO) and action appropriate response.
  • Effectively deliver business messaging, and present HR updates and information in various forums as required.
  • Add value to improving our systems and procedures.
  • What do we need from you?

    You will be an experienced Senior HR all-rounder who brings a strong background to be able to manage operational and strategic HR matters.

    You will be passionate about elevating and shaping our HR strategy as we strive to be an employer of choice.

  • Tertiary qualification and minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Senior HR generalist role and organisational development
  • High work ethic but knows how to have fun
  • High level of resilience, initiative, agility and ability to work at pace will be valued
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems / issues and proactively develop solutions
  • Sound judgement and excellent influencing skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work conscientiously under pressure and meet tight deadlines when needed
  • True team player, mentoring other team members and provide support where required
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • A supportive and collaborative style, rather than directive, and you can tailor your approach to meet the diverse needs of our leaders.
