ENROLLED NURSE - Full time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) Rostered Shifts
Are you looking for a new and exciting role in a new unit? Then join us in our combined Theatre Admission and Discharge Unit (TADU) and Postoperative Surgical Units (PSU).
The PSU is an 8 bedded unit for patients who have had a surgical procedure requiring admission for up to 23 hours in the post-operative phase.
This unit includes both day stay surgery patients and those requiring an overnight stay, or Extended Day Only (EDO) surgery.
The primary objective of this model of care is to concentrate on ambulatory, low acuity surgical cases in a dedicated short stay surgical setting.
The Unit is 24 / 7 and positions are available to work rostered 8 hours shifts - AM, PM and Nights.
TADU is a small team of nurses that specialise in pre-operative admissions, assessment and day of surgery discharge. This unit is open between the hours of 0630-2000 7 day per week cover with rostered shifts.
We are currently looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our fantastic team for 12 months for a maternity cover fixed term! You will have the flexibility of working across TADU and PSU, and will be empowered to make decisions or recommendations relating to patient care in consultation with the Clinical Specialty Nurse and the Associate Clinical Nurse Manager.
