What's the role about?

The referrals and onboarding team play a critical role in the process of bringing on new clients who have been referred to our services.

This a fast-paced, high volume administrative position with a strong element of customer service, as you will be liaising and dealing with both funders and clients as part of the onboarding process.

The position is Monday to Friday on a roster which would see you needing to be available between the hours of 7am - 7pm, there is also an occasional Saturday required on a rostered basis, usually once every 2 months.

Healthcare NZ has 2 offices in Auckland - Albany and Penrose. These positions can be based in either location, so please specify in your cover letter if you have a preference.

What you'll be doing :

  • Receive and respond to referrals, capturing information accurately and ensuring appropriate systems are updated
  • Gather and enter data into the Client Management System (CMS), roster, workforce management, and other systems as required, ensuring the required data is complete and accurate, and actively seeking information from funders / clients if incomplete
  • Accurate and timely set up, initial contact, and onboarding processes for new clients
  • Calling new clients to welcome them to our services as well as providing a follow-up call after 3 weeks to ensure services are running smoothly
  • Creating initial rosters for new clients based on client needs and funding allowance
  • Maintenance of accurate and comprehensive Customer records in the CMS and workforce systems as required.
  • We are looking for people with the following skills :

  • A minimum of 2+ years experience in an administrative, data entry or contact centre position
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must, as well as strong organisational and time management skills
  • Great phone manner and a flair for delivering customer excellence
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy, high-volume work environment
  • No previous healthcare industry experience is required - although it would be highly advantageous
