  • Repco NZ are looking for an exceptional Commercial Sales Rep to join their team to develop and maintain successful relationships with our commercial customers in the Whanganui area.

    We pride ourselves on providing knowledgeable, efficient customer service and develop our staff to reflect this through a variety of training opportunities.

    The Role

    This is a role where you will truly be self-managed, taking ownership and accountability for the growth of our commercial clients in the Whanganui area.

    Based on the road visiting these key customers, you will be responsible for ensuring their account is well looked after, while also developing new business in the area.

    As the main point of contact for these commercial customers, you will assist with all of their product / ordering needs, ensuring that we provide a level of service superior to our competitors and increase market share for the territory.

    Specific duties include

  • Visiting our commercial customers and discussing their account needs
  • Managing and growing client relationships but understanding their objectives and needs
  • Recognising and capitalising on local market opportunities
  • Working autonomously to maintaining a structured itinerary and call cycle
  • Providing accurate and friendly advice superior to that of our competitors
  • Liaising with our in store Commercial and Trade Specialists to ensure our key clients are well looked after
  • Skills and Experience Required

  • Commercial experience in the Heavy Transport industry
  • Achievement orientated, enthusiastic, motivated and a team player
  • Natural people person with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proven ability to increase profit margins and grow market share
  • Aptitude to self-manage and work autonomously
  • Ability to influence as well as strong negotiation skills
  • High levels of resilience and problem solving skills
