Based out of our Fanshawe Street or London Street offices, the Business Analyst will play be an integral part of the team, under our IT Engagement function.
Role PurposeThe Business Analyst provides a key function within the IT Engagement function to investigate and document business requirements in support of new initiatives or business problems.
Working closely with the IT Manager or Project Manager the Business Analyst leads the discovery and business requirements gathering phase for our IT project life cycle.
A key requirement for the role is building effective working relationships with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts across all areas of the business.
The role will see you : Process Led : Fully understand the current and future business process state.Effectively document business requirements and support the development of business cases.
Assist with the development and execution of the testing strategy (against the documented requirements).Evaluate new activities including projects, products, services or systems, to ensure adequate consideration of risk impact.
Translate and embed new improvement initiatives into the operations of the team, ensuring that they are fit for purpose, sustainable, and meet the businesses needsMaintain a balance between the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions, successfully resolving conflicting requirements as they occurEvaluate new activities including projects, products, services or systems, to ensure adequate consideration of risk impactAssess, manage, report and monitor risks according to the IT risk management frameworkOther key success enablers include : Proven strong background in providing resolution to business problems and opportunitiesCapable in working autonomously and build positive relationships with site managementAble to build proactive and positive relationships with business contacts / users and other IT TeamsApply today.
