Sealord is a global seafood enterprise with a world-wide fishing, processing and marketing network. Sealord retains its home base in New Zealand and has led the seafood industry in the careful and sustainable management of fish and seafood resources.
Our global catch is approximately 115,000 tonnes and we export over 90% of our New Zealand product to more than 40 countries.
Sealord Fishing operates a number of fishing vessels and land-based operations including major onshore processing plants in Nelson.
We have a great opportunity for a motivated person to join the Customer Service team on a fixed term engagement until approximately end of June 2021.
This role located in Nelson and reporting to the Customer Services Manager will be responsible for managing and processing all export orders from the sales team through to customer.
You will ensure that all order documentation is complete and accurately captured in our systems and deliver a great customer experience.
Your attention to detail and effective communication means that export documentation will be completed right first time and complies with all regulatory requirements.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven record of success in a customer service focused role and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the sales order and export certification and documentation processes.
Attention to detail will be key to your success, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team and at times, under pressure.
Developing strong internal and external relationships is a key strength of yours enabling you to effectively partner with key stakeholders.
You will also have proven agility with, and resilience to change and embrace continuous improvement. You will be process orientated, a logical thinker and must have sound experience in using computer-based order management and inventory systems.
