We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Occupational Therapist to take on a role for the planning, co-ordination, continuous improvement of, and access to student placement and education for Occupational Therapy.
This role also contributes to the development of interprofessional learning opportunities for students and the development, coordination & delivery of entry to practice programmes at CM Health for Allied Health Scientific and Technical professions
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with well-established clinical knowledge and skills. Previous experience of supervising staff and students is preferable.
Familiarity with Occupational Therapy tertiary education programmes and interprofessional education is an advantage, although not essential.
NZ Registered with OT Board with current practising certificate Minimum of 4 years clinical experience in range of clinical settings
Minimum of 2 years’ occupational therapy fieldwork supervision experience
Highly developed communication skills and cultural awareness
Ability to work co-operatively with a wide range of people
Passion for student education & Occupational Therapy
Clinical teaching qualification
Familiarity with the Occupational Therapy curriculum
Knowledge of interprofessional education
Completion of Supervision / preceptorship training
