    Whatyou’ll do with your time

  • Community focused InterRai assessments with our clients
  • Working seamlessly within an Interdisciplinary Team including District Nurses & Allied Health Professionals
  • Lead, develop & up skill other members in your team
  • Inthis community focused role you will be working with our clients in their homesto support them with any health needs that will enable them to have the choiceto stay in their own home.

    In this role you will be working alongside one otherCommunity Nurse, a coordinator & 30 home support workers. You will have theopportunity to lead, influence and upskill this team along side the othercommunity nurse to work at the highest level.

    Thiswould be an excellent role for a level headed nurse with a passion forcommunity focused nursing who is wanting to make a step into a role where notonly will you make a real difference in the community in Hokitika but be ableto lead and up skill a wider team.

    Thisis a fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) role based in Hokitika with the exact hoursto be negotiated.

  • Excellent clinical decision making skills
  • High levels of computer & digital literacy
  • Able to think on your feet and be flexible as the requirements of the service change.
