  • About the role

    With a freshly signed contract, we're looking to kick this site off in the next couple of months, and need a new PM to lead the team and project through from the outset.

    This is a large but not huge, yet highly complex refurb and build worth $10M+ over 14 months, and should present a good structural challenge to you and your team.

    You will be here to plan and programme this project in conjunction with the Site Managers, and then ensure it is completed correctly, on budget and time all while being done safely.

    Assisting, leading and mentoring your site team, we need you to build a high-performing site team, guide them through changes and developments and lead them by example.

    It will be your responsibility to plan, schedule, monitor and enable the project through communication and leadership.

    Skills & experience

    To kick this project off, we really need someone with past proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager. This is a fairly unique build with some good challenges in there for you, and will offer growth going forward.

    For this you could've come from either a trade background or have studied and worked your way up, either way a Diploma in Construction Management or similar would be ideal but not necessary.

  • In saying all of this though, You may be on the way up the career path and potentially a well experienced Site Manager who's already performing the role of Project Manager and ready for the recognition - the more you offer, the more we can offer! Experience on a New Zealand Commercial site is required to be successful in this role. You will otherwise;
  • Be a great communicator, people manager and problem solver
  • Know MS Project inside out
  • Carry your Site Safe Gold Card
  • Preferably - experience with Procore
