Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role forms part of a small team in the development of sales throughout the North Island.

Working with leading appliance retailers, you will identify areas of growth from pre-existing accounts and further sales growth throughout the region.

With the region being a top performer for the business this is a role where you can truly make a difference.

You will be responsible for :

  • Managing the strategic relationship with existing key retail accounts and identify new opportunities for growth
  • The promotion of the products in store and at trade shows to ensure point of sales and merchandising in store is where it needs to be
  • Product training to ensure staff know the benefits and the value-added sell of the products in comparison to competitors
  • Monitoring competitor activity and general market trends
  • Meeting assigned KPI’s through a pre-existing call cycle
  • Ensuring Stock, displays and promotions are at the level needed in store
  • Working with accounts to identify best practice for how best to merchandise to ensure the product is at the forefront of the customers buying habits
  • About You

    You will have a good understanding of retail and get what the customers needs are within a competitive market. You will be a strong relationship builder, able to work independently and have the drive to succeed! Given that this is a field-

    based role, you will be excellent at managing your own diary to ensure that KPI’s are maintained and the accounts throughout the region have a sufficient call cycle.

    You will have strong presentations skills, with the confidence to train instore members of staff on the product offering along with working alongside store managers to ensure pos and merchandising is sufficiently attractive to customers.

    Negotiation skills and strong analytics are key within this role to identify areas of growth for the business.

    Most of all you will be passionate about your work and have an interest in the product offering with the attitude to succeed and grow your career!!

    You will be flexible in your work and hold a full NZ driving license given the travel involved in the role.
