Farmers Botany is searching for our next Loss Prevention Manager who has experience in managing a team of people and most importantly understands the fundamentals of creating a loss prevention culture within a business!

As a Loss Prevention Manager you look after Health and Safety, compliance and operations as well as continuously delivering customer service.

You will be responsible for leading a culture in store that promotes preventing stock losses from all avenues within our store.

As an expert in Loss Prevention and or retail operations, we know that you'll bring a wealth of knowledge with you and to set you up for success.

We will provide you with a structured training programme to support you as you learn all about our business and way of operating.

Experience in retail leadership is preferred as this role is not a sit behind the cameras role but rather, leads the team from the front.

  • We'll expect you to identify areas and opportunities for improvement, drive a culture of loss prevention through your management of your loss prevention team and the wider store team;
  • by taking the business forward through expert leadership.

    So what else will you need?

  • Previous experience managing a team of people
  • A proven history of loss prevention management and / or retail operations
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • A High level operator who knows about trends and takes corrective action
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Great organisational and planning skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines
  • What does an average day look like?

  • Completing action plans
  • Implementing safe work practices and adhering to Health and Safety standards
  • Uncovering internal theft, Implementing strategies to prevent theft
  • Working with the store management team to identify high risk areas and taking steps to reduce the risk

  • This is a Full Time role working 40 hours per week and will require flexibility for early starts and late nights. Weekend work is required as part of the management roster.

    It revolves around reducing risk through managing a culture of customer service in store - this role is highly customer focused
