Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Coordinate recruiting and staffing activities in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team
  • Compensations and Benefits includes providing advice to managers on salary packages, employee benefits and market information while complying with C&B policies & procedures.
  • Employee Counselling & performance management by facilitating counselling sessions and coaching the managers / employees on performance review systems and processes
  • Support managers on talent development, succession planning and retention initiatives
  • Employee relations & legislation be the first point of contact for any employee questions and grievances while being abreast of all local employment legislation, compliance requirements and changes impacting the workforce
  • Manage and have experience in workers comp and return to work activities
  • Facilitate and train line managers / employees on new programs, systems and processes
  • Program / project management & implementation of global, regional & local HR programs including Annual / Mid-year performance reviews, annual salary reviews, succession planning, incentive plan distribution and payment, employee opinion surveys and / or any other ad-hoc projects
  • Provide advice and information on handling employee or company-initiated terminations
  • Key Experience & Capabilities :

  • Minimum 5-7 years HR generalist experience with prior experience using HRIS (PeopleSoft preferred) and HR reporting tools
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management skills
  • Outstanding relationship building, coaching and influencing skills
  • Prioritisation and time management skills with strong customer service focus
  • Ability to appreciate and respect confidential matters
  • This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in labor law & legislation within the New Zealand market. This is a standalone role in the region and thus requires the person to be able to operate independently while working in a fast- paced matrixed environment.
