    About the role We are looking for talented and agile individuals to join our Legal Services teams in Takapuna, Manukau, Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch.

    In return you will work on challenging and exciting legal issues and benefit from a supportive work environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your legal skills and other capabilities to provide legal services to a wide range of stakeholders.

    You may work on investigations and disputes or litigation (including prosecution or civil matters), provide advice to our customers on a wide range of issues, draft guidance for our internal and external customers and be part of project teams involved in implementing new legislation.

    You will work both proactively and reactively to help customers to get it right from the start and you will be part of a solutions-focussed team recognised for providing high levels of customer service.

    If you thrive on intellectual challenges and variety, there is no shortage of challenging legal, tax and social policy issues that you will be across in this role.

    What you need to bring to the role

  • You will hold a law degree and you will have been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand; and
  • You will hold a current practising certificate (or you are eligible to acquire one prior to commencing employment).Additional information To learn more, please refer to the Role Description for this position.
