You will be an advocate for the customer and act as the first point of escalation.QualificationsAbout the Role : The Technical Account Manager is responsible for maintaining a successful relationship between Noel Leeming Commercial and its key technical commercial customers.
You will be an advocate for the customer and act as the first point of escalation. With a primary focus on the retention and extension of customers the Technical Account Manager will be responsible for managing all elements of each account from planning and performance to the financial aspects of the contract, as well as mediating any dispute or conflict.
The Technical Account Manager is expected to maintain close communication with contracted and larger customers, as well as facilitate communication with technical support and Professional Services when necessary.
The role is responsible for making recommendations based on identifying customer’s current and future technology needs during a trusted business relationship and identifying potential areas of concern for customers before they arise.
You will provide reporting and develop innovative ways of improving customer satisfaction.This is a senior role expected to work collaboratively with teams to create an environment that supports our customers and delivers effectivelyYou will assist the Commercial Sales Team and Service Managers to sell technical and professional services and provide technical guidance to assist them to grow the Commercial business as well as identifying new opportunities to assist customers to improve and update their IT environmentAbout You : You will be an experienced IT professional with service management and account management experience.
Your technical knowledge will help you to understand your customer needs and help you to facilitate the delivery of services to their requirement.
You will be proactive in addressing customer requests and in escalating and addressing customer concerns. You will have proven capabilities in building relationships with customers and with internal sales and delivery teams.
You will be able to identify opportunities to assist our customers with services to support their business needs. You are a good communicator, problem solver, negotiator and can build trust with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in technology or relative business experienceMinimum of 3 years business related experience preferably in the IT sector with proven results in customer satisfaction and the achievement of KPI’sStrong technical knowledge and the ability to understand and deliver highly technical solutionsRelationship / Account Management experienceCan present / communicate well at executive levelStakeholder Management, Negotiation, influencing and problem solvingDesirable : Experience working in a Managed Service EnvironmentStrong knowledge and understanding of the local business environment and economic issues and trends5 Years IT engineering experienceAdditional InformationAbout usYou'll get to see the huge impact that you have on New Zealanders -
