About the role :
As part of the Communications team you will design and develop digital content to support the DHB’s messaging and campaigns across a range of platforms and projects.
Working in a small team, you will create digital elements and design for websites, and the intranet, including moving and still images and graphics.
You will also edit video and photos.
You will be up-to-date with technology developments and active in promoting opportunities for improvements.
Providing a key service in the organisation, you will work with DHB staff to shape project briefs, provide guidance and support to a range of services.
The ideal person :
We’re looking for a highly capable Digital Content Designer who understands the challenges and opportunities of working in a large, complex environment.
A high level of creative design and computer skills is needed, alongside a critical eye for effective and engaging multimedia solutions.
Experience and skills :
Experience with HTML editors
Working knowledge of video imaging and editing tools such as Premier Pro, Bridge, and Lightroom
Working knowledge using online newsletter services such as Mailchimp, Beepro, SendinBlue
Working knowledge of Sharepoint and Wordpress
Knowledge of online graphic design principles and working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience and understanding of modern online communications tools and practices
