Job Description

Are you an experienced Demand and / or Supply Planner looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?

As a valued part of the Logistics and Planning team, your role will be to lead the supply and demand planning portfolio for a number of key products to ensure availability across New Zealand, whilst optimising network costs.

Based at our Auckland head office in Wiri , this role reports directly to the Logistics and Planning Manager.

The key responsibilities of this role include :

  • Collaborate with sales and operations to develop short, medium and long-term demand and supply forecasts
  • Drive cross functional collaboration to optimise planning capabilities to reduce costs
  • Manage network optimisation & analysis to support ongoing planning & optimisation of our New Zealand Service Centre network
  • Collaborate with logistics to report, agree and publish the linehaul S&OP forecast and supply plans
  • Drive the on-going planning and optimisation of our network using JDA Planning Software
  • Provide insights into strategic projects and capital planning in line with the business and supply chain strategy
  • The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications :

  • Proven experience in influencing key stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
  • Planning experience within demand, production or transport
  • Experience in supply chain, retail or FMCG would be highly regarded
  • Experience using JDA planning software for stock and production management
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience in SAP required
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills is a must
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels
