We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an innovative and efficient part-time Finance Administrator to the Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor, College of Health at Massey University.

The strategic approach of the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, College of Health is to view optimal health and wellbeing as the outcome of multiple factors encompassing individual differences, diversity, social determinants and environmental interactions.

The Finance Administrator contributes to the successful financial administration of the College of Health by providing timely, effective and high quality financial and research project support to the Manager - Finance Administration, PVC Office Finance team, and College of Health Schools.

The part-time position is fixed-term until 10 December 2021.

Key attributes required :

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in finance administration within a tertiary environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to learn and use core Massey University systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications to an intermediate level is essential
  • Requirements to pass a criminal and traffic convictions check performed by the Ministry of Justice and a credit history and No Asset Procedure Credit History Check performed by Equifax are essential
  • Demonstrated experience in SharePoint, or other form of digital records management systems is an advantage
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in is desirable
  • A positive attitude and professional approach to work
  • A high level of interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Can provide excellent customer service to meet objectives

    We are offering one part-time fixed-term Finance Administrator position, at 0.5 FTE. The position is until 10 December 2021.
