About the role

This is a new role that will see you playing a pivotal role in the People Experience Leadership team and the direction of the Directorate's work programme.

You will lead, develop and mentor a team of HR professionals supporting the needs of our regions.

Critical to this role will be your strong generalist HR background, your superb leadership skills and your thorough understanding of modern HR principals.

Along with this you will be responsible for embedding a new HR operating model, while ensuring continuity and delivery to the business is maintained.

The role is varied and on any given day you could be :

  • Working closely with other members of the Directorate leadership team and the National Manager to connect programmes.
  • Influencing senior manager around employment matters
  • Providing leadership and management to your team of HR Managers, and their teams.
  • Developing and managing key relationship between our Employment Relations team, the Behavioural and Conduct Office and the People Services team.
  • Ensuring complex HR matters are managed in a timely and efficient manner.
