PROJECT MANAGER PROPOSAL GENERATION

Work with a giant of technology :

We have an exciting new vacancy in our Proposal Central team. Based in Wellington, but part of a wider Australasian team who provide similar services, the Project Manager will lead and manage the delivery of proposal responses as part of the Proposal Centre Team.

You will do this in partnership with the customer and Fujitsu sales, architecture and other business units.

We are looking for an all-rounder, someone who has good IT infrastructure / application technical and solution knowledge, as well as the project management capability.

In this role you will :

  • Be accountable for delivering quality statements of work and tender responses as a member of the Proposal Centre Team
  • Manage the development of a statement of work with a clearly defined scope of work, or work closely with key stakeholders to develop the requirements in conjunction with the customer and technical resources.
  • Be accountable for tracking allocated budget and delivering SOWs within set Operational Level Agreements.
  • Manage work package or project stage risks and produce an effective plan and risk assessment, so that timescales and costs are understood and underwritten.
  • Ensure that formal review procedures are used, managing the risks associatedwith the deliverables of the project in line with Project Management Methodology.
  • Building your own path to success :

    To thrive in this role, we envisage you will have :

  • Excellent Leadership and Stakeholder Management
  • AGILE, PRINCE2 or PMI certification and proficiency in Project Management Methodology. Programme / Project Office experience would be a plus.
  • IT infrastructure / application technical and / or solution experience
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Project and Programme Management services experience in at least two of : Bids and TendersStatement of work developmentSystem Integration ProjectsDeployment ProjectsInfrastructure ProjectsTransfer ProjectsTransition ProjectsTransformation Projects
