WairauHospital Theatre Suite consists of 5 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, aSterile Services department and Day Stay Unit.
We have permanent part-time and full-time positions are based in the main theatre department where we provide publicacute and elective services, as well as private cases.
Shifts are rosteredMonday-Sunday, with on call after hours and at the weekends.
Surgicalspecialties covered include : GeneralSurgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental andAcute / Trauma.

You will be anexperienced Theatre nurse with the ability to care for patients undergoing avariety of acute and elective surgical procedures.
Teamwork is key in the operating theatre, so you will need to be a team-player witha collaborative attitude towards patient care.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMHstaff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 PublicHealth Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 including boosters.
