We are on the search for a talented financial service professional to be part of this specialised team. Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, you will provide development and maintenance support for the Risk Data infrastructure.
This is a critical role that provides expert technical management of the existing risk architecture but also importantly the opportunity to drive improvement and development.
The role is crucial in enabling the division to effectively govern and manage its market and credit risks in adherence to the banks risk appetite and internal policy and compliance to the NZ and Australian laws.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate strong / intermediate SQL programming and VBA skills.
Ideally you will have 2-5 years programming experience within a financial services environment, preferably in a risk related field.
A key attribute will be the ability to pro-actively identify and carry out technology and process improvements.
One of your strengths will be prioritising and working to tight deadlines. In addition, you will be engaging with a variety of stakeholders so excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels will prove critical to your success.
