Along with supporting IAG's Business, a large part of your role will be working with our Partners ensuring we achieve the best outcome together.
You will be working collaboratively with your peers in Australia and New Zealand contributing to a highly skilled and valued team.
What you'll be doing :
Support teams with their ongoing journey away from manually building, testing and deploying software to automated pipelines, enabling Continuous Integration practices
Support software releases via the Continuous Delivery pipelines, working with the delivery teams to ensure software testing and deployment is automated all the way to production
Document patterns, decisions and environment infrastructure
Support teams to implement instrumentation of application and infrastructure to obtain quality and performance insights including in-depth diagnosis and tuning of services
Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability
Support application and infrastructure security designs / patterns including management of certificates and secrets
Orchestrate knowledge transfer sessions with fellow DevOps Engineers and other stakeholders across IAG Technology
Manage backlog of issues and initiatives
Ensure the operational availability and performance of systems is well managed and controlled
You'll ideally have :
7+ years demonstrated industry-related experience as a senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
Experience working in a highly regulated environment, e.g. financial services
Hands on experience in CISCO and F5 networking technologies
Hands on experience of Wireless technologies, Remote Access Services such as Cisco AnyConnect and Network Authentication Services (NAC)
Familiarity with Cloud networking strategy and concepts
Understanding of network security principles and controls
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP / IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP)
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (Splunk knowledge ideal but not required)
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to work under pressure to identify problems and implement solutions with minimal downtime
Have a critical / analytical mindset to help identify improvements of service
Work closely with Partners to achieve the best outcome in service resolution and to work closely with Partners to articulate any network service improvements
Flexibility to be called after hours on a on call roster
