About the role

This new and exciting opportunity has arisen that will be based in our Penrose Head Office.

As part of the People and Culture team, this role will touch every part of our business, building strong and valuable relationships with our fabulous nationwide team.

Who we are looking for :

We are looking for someone who is able to juggle several activities on the go at the same time, someone who is passionate about supporting and developing our people to be the best they can be, and someone who has strong communication skills who can engage the full organisation.

In addition, the following requirements will be required to be successful :

  • Own the internal training schedule, ensuring courses are available to meet the needs identified in individual training plans.
  • Support facilitators.
  • Develop and provide marketing material for training opportunities.
  • Maintain the training needs analysis master for each role within the organisation.
  • Develop a training plan for each new employee relevant to their role.
  • Maintain all training records and training material, including version control and regular updates.
  • Support the development of training material with subject experts.
  • Research and recommend any new training methods.
  • Maintain a register of providers and booking employee on external training courses.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and training course cost against budget.
  • Regular reporting on compliance for mandatory training.
  • To ensure the complete health, safety and wellbeing of our people.
  • Escalate to your manager any immediate risk or serious injury or environmental harm, hazards, near misses, injuries and incidents.
  • Experience required : .

  • Previous experience at a Coordinator level
  • A MS Office whizz!
  • An inquisitive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement or new ways to train and develop our people.
  • Positive and professional approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of employment obligations.
  • Prioritisation skills
