The growth of the district is keeping our Accredited Building Control Team busy and with no end in sight we need two Building Control Officers to join us and support our community to achieve their dreams.

In this role, the focus is on assessing onsite construction against approved building consent documents.
In this role, the focus is on assessing building consent applications and plans against the Building Act 2004 and NZ Building Code.
If you have experience or a strong interest in working within a building control environment preferably within a local authority, and are keen to work in this busy, diverse and professional team then this could be a perfect opportunity for you.
