As a project manager in EY’s growing Project and Programme delivery capability, you will work alongside a team of skilled delivery professionals to drive the delivery of large-scale transformational work for some of New Zealand’s biggest companies.
As an EY project manager, you will manage a broad range of interesting and exciting projects to drive the technology agenda of our clients forward, interfacing with EY team members, clients, and senior stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
Manage all project activities, including resourcing, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and functional and technical requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders and Project Co-ordinators to obtain necessary project resources including personnel and support infrastructure
Manage the end to end delivery of infrastructure and application build projects from scoping through to delivery
Track project progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with project management methodologies and standards
Perform regular project reporting including reporting on schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, team, stakeholders and benefits
Adopt and adhere to the customers project and program management methodologies across all infrastructure and application projects
Monitor and control resources, operational and capital costs against the project budget and ensure projects are delivered within the timeframes defined.
Manage expectations of all project stakeholders, including any project related vendors, third party resources or delivery managers.
Ensure all supporting project team members (internal / external) have the pre-requisite skills to perform the roles required
Assessing, managing, reporting and monitoring risks according to the customers IT risk management framework.

To qualify for the role you must have
Excellent project management skills including budget, benefit, schedule and team management skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
Demonstrated customer focus by evaluating decisions from the customer’s perspective; building strong customer relationships and partnering well to help fulfil their needs
6+ years’ experience in a project management function
