LEGAL SECRETARY / RECEPTIONIST A position has become available for a firm of attorneys based in Howick. Our client is looking for a Legal Secretary / Receptionist to manage the front desk on a daily basis and to attend to secretarial functions for the Professional staff.
The ideal candidate would have a positive, helpful and friendly disposition who is able to deal with clients in a professional manner.
Incumbent would assist with administrative tasks for the senior staff which will include by not be limited to : Dictaphone typing and drafting of legal documents.
Experience and knowledge of conveyancing and commercial secretarial processes would be advantageous. The ideal candidate would be familiar with the different legal departments to assist clients where possible.
Further to the secretarial function, the candidate would attend to clients, answering the switchboard and taking messages.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as competency in MS Office applications. A minimum of 4 years experience would be advantageous.
Must have a code 08 drivers licence and reside locally.
