Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, this is a senior role where you are a key strategic partner with ELT and ELG leadership teams.
You will apply strategic thinking and design to identify, align and embed people initiatives based on business need, organisational objectives and in alignment with the enterprise wide People Strategy.
As a critical conduit between business operations and P&C, you are responsible for highlighting business needs to ensure P&C products and services are commercial and fit-for-purpose.
You will coach and mentor members of P&C and senior leaders within the business.You will be a key player in building organisational capability and in ensuring there is a thorough understanding of business strategies, operations, and outputs including how the business serves, and delivers to our customers and our community.
He kōrero mōu : About youA seasoned HR professional, you will bring significant proven experience as a trusted business advisor to senior leadership, and subject matter expert in the delivery of HR expertise.
Tertiary qualified, you will have demonstrated significant expertise across the full spectrum of people related functions, you’ll be able to confidently support leaders to manage significant people challenges and opportunities such as restructures, performance management, culture programmes, leadership development, and employee experience.
With strong communication and influencing skills, you will have ability to understand business challenges and translate into commercial guidance and advice.
Politically savvy with high resilience, you will be able to handle change and ambiguity. You will participate in initiatives to embed te ao Māori into the way we do things.
You are willing to develop and build your own confidence and capability to contribute to the department’s Māori Responsiveness Plan and wider organisation’s vision to be a treaty-responsive organisation.
