    Live Life DisabilitySupport (LLDS) provide support to people who have disabilities to achieve theirpersonal aspirations and choices.

    LLDS provides support to over 250 people in avariety of residentialand respite settings across the Nelson / Tasman and Marlborough regions.

    We support each personto manage their day to day lives in ways and at times that work for them. Thepeople we support have a wide range of abilities and challenges.

  • Some peopleneed support with their personal care and taking care of household tasks; some needsupport to participate and go out-and-about and join in social and leisureactivities;
  • and some need communication and behavioural support.

    Weactively encourage people to pursue their dreams and try out new experiences,and can guarantee that no two days working at LLDS are ever the same.

    Wealso work collaboratively and in partnership with Mental Health and Addictions,Youth Justice, Oranga Tamariki, and other community organisations to meet theneeds of people we support.

    We have four new permanent positions available. Please apply to the individual vacancy(s) of interest by clicking on the links below.

    working 32 hours a fortnight (0.4FTE). Shift : 8.30AM to 12.30PM. Roster Sunday to Wednesday.

    working 32 hours a fortnight (0.4FTE). Shift : 7.00AM to 11.00AM. Roster : Sunday to Wednesday.

    working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0FTE). Shift : 10.30AM to 7.00PM. Roster : Sunday to Thursday.

    working 35 flexi-hours a week, as rostered (including every Saturday). 70 hours a fortnight (0.87FTE).

    You will have a can-do attitude and beable to work with children and adults, as part of a proactive team, in aresidential home.

    You will follow individual plans and understand theimportance of consistency in assisting people to achieve a great life.

    We’re looking for people from all walksof life who :

  • Have a sense of humour, energy and enthusiasm
  • Are patient and kind, friendly and helpful
  • Have good social skills and the ability to relate well to others
  • Have the ability to understand non-verbal behaviours
  • Have good written and spoken language skills in English and / or Te Reo.
  • Have basic maths and computing knowledge
  • Have confidence in assisting with personal cares
  • A current full NZ driver’s licence (confident driving both automatic andmanual vehicles).
  • NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 2 to 4) or equivalent ispreferred, or the willingness to complete this level of study in the workplace.
  • Your hourly rate willbe $21.50 to $27.00 an hourdependent upon your qualifications as recognised under the Care and SupportWorkers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017.

    This position is classified byImmigration as ANZSCO 423111 and applicants for this position must be NZ orAustralian Citizens, or have NZ Permanent Residency, or a valid NZ workvisa.
