Grow your careerBased in Greenlane, Tū Māia (formerly known as Regional Youth Forensic Service -RYFS) is a regionally focussed multi-disciplinary team whose primary role is the assessment and treatment of tamariki and rangatahi involved in the Youth Justice systems.

This role will include (but not limited to) preparing formal reports on mental health needs for the Courts and other agencies, and providing short term therapies to a small number of young people.

We also provide clinical services to young people in secure residential care, and Court liaison services.Tū Māia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

You will work as an expert clinician in MH Nursing and your primary focus will be to provide clinical and professional leadership.

You will be committed to the philosophy and concepts of MH Nursing care. Essential requirements for this role are :

At least five years experience in MH nursing care

Endorsement by the Nursing Council of NZ to practice as a MH Nurse Practitioner in MH Nursing.

Alignment with the values of the Auckland DHB- Te Toka TumaiWe are looking for a dynamic clinician who has experience in child and adolescent work, and preferably forensic services, and be able to provide comprehensive to mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence based treatment strategies for young people who present to the service, and work collaboratively with other team members and other services.
